[ Recipe ] Craving for Cheese? Grilled and Ready to go!


Today we're here with a pan grilled cheese with tomato, exceptionally easy snack to make! A twist on the classic grilled cheese, the tomato adds a juicy splash of vitamins and antioxidants with very few calories added.

Health benefits for your vision from the vitamin A and protective resistance against infections from vitamin C. Its a wonder veggie. This snack is perfect for those who want to take that first step in a healthier lifestyle or would like to spice up their usual grilled cheese sandwiches. Balance the rich fat from the cheese with the refreshing zing from the tomato - completed with multi-grain bread.

Start by heating up your pan on medium heat and prepare your ingredients.
  • 4 Slices of Tomato
  • 1 Slice of Cheese
  • 2 Slices of Multi-grain Bread

Wash, dry, and cut your juicy tomato.
I took out the stem by using this melon baller I got years back at the nightmarket. Started using it again and its one of the most useful tools I have in the kitchen. (I do not cook often, haha) 
Have your cheese and bread on the pan until the edges of the underneath are golden brown and your cheese is melted slightly. 

 Place your tomato slices EVER SO BEAUTIFULLY on the cheese. Have your second piece of bread on top and flip the entire sandwich. This may be a bit difficult but as long as you have a spatula and spoon to hold each side it should be fine.

Wait until the second side is also golden brown and have your plate ready! Cut that beauty up and serve.
Look at it, just look at it. Oh that cheese, a delicious mess.
